Information stored on the device

Covebreak stores campaign progress, upgrades, customization choices, settings, personal best times, streak progress, unfinished voyages, and pending leaderboard submissions on the player's device. This information is used to provide and restore game features.

Apple Game Center

Online rankings are optional. When a player uses them, Covebreak uses Apple Game Center to authenticate the player, display leaderboards, and submit successful course times. The app may store a scoped Game Center player identifier and pending scores on the device so a failed submission can be retried. Apple processes Game Center information under Apple's privacy policy.

Players can use the campaign, Arcade games, upgrades, and local records without opening online rankings.

Information the developer does not collect

Covebreak contains no advertising or third-party analytics. The app does not send gameplay data to a developer-operated server and does not request location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health, financial, or payment information. The app does not track players across other companies' apps or websites.

Retention and deletion

Local game information remains on the device until the app's data is removed or the app is deleted. Game Center scores and account information are managed through the player's Apple account and Game Center settings.

Children

Covebreak does not knowingly collect personal information through a developer-operated service. Optional Game Center features are provided and controlled by Apple.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app's features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
